Just as reading has always been such a big part of my life, I've loved writing ever since I was a little girl. I used to take my mom's old empty ledger books and scribble little stories on them. As I grew up, I began toting around five or six notebooks full of my stories, many of them my own, some of them what is known as "fan fiction" (taking an existing body of work, either from a movie, TV show, animation, or even other literature, and writing your own story about them). I was a part of the Creative Writing club in high school, and even tried to start our own literary folio (though that didn't really turn out too well).
When it came time for me to go to university, I was sure that I wanted to take up a course that would help me learn more about writing, and to read more wonderful titles. I took up the Literature course in the University of Sto. Tomas, and I certainly got more than enough writing and reading than I expected. I'm still writing today, hoping to publish a novel full-length one day, or maybe even a series. I am still dreaming, and writing.
